Chris Sedgwick (Sedgwick Restaurant Group, Pure Taqueria, Made Kitchen and Cocktails, The Union) and team have brought their backyard garden-to-table concept to fruition here in Milton. It started, quite literally, with seven acres of fertile land on the building’s property, and from here they plan to source many ingredients for their popular veggie-centric dishes.
The brainchild of Chris Sedgwick and Chef Mix McCrory, 7Acre BarnGrill puts a modern spin on southern comfort food in a contempo-country atmosphere. We are located at the Birmingham Crossroads in the familiar building that operated as Buice’s General Store from 1930 until recent years. 7Acre BarnGrill was born out of a desire to preserve the historic building and repurpose it as a place for community.
Based on the “backyard-garden-to-table” concept, our simple yet bountiful menu features locally-sourced ingredients whenever possible, homemade pies, and in-house barrel-aged whiskeys in addition to our full bar. The family-focused dining room seats 93 comfortably, and opens up to a porch with additional seating for 36 guests.
THE BAR AT 7ACRE
There’s a “bar” in “BarnGrill” for a reason. We offer a host of local brews and craft cocktails to pair with a selection of 77 whiskeys and other spirits. On tap at all times, we have 12 beers and two (2) draught wines.
Expect to see your favorite local breweries represented on tap in addition to a thoughtfully-curated wine list that evolves throughout the seasons. Our signature, in-house whiskeys are barrel-aged and infused over a period of two months to achieve bold flavors unique to 7Acre.
